The Peoria branch of AAUW has awarded a $1000 scholarship to HANNAH BOOKER. Hannah is a graduate student at Bradley University pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. The photo above is our scholarship winner being presented  a check by our scholarship committee, Mary Winkler and Phyllis Close.

The method of selecting the recipient for our 2017-2018 scholarships has changed. The scholarship committee will pick from three local colleges: Bradley University, Methodist College and University of Illinois Medical School. The chosen school will select as many as four winners who adhere to our AAUW guidelines.The scholarship committee will then determine the winners. There may be as many as four scholarships awarded.
